I read books, organize labor, teach children, dance alone, and talk too much. I am a Georgia girl with a serious crush on [boys from] Chicago. I drink whiskey and dig Stevie. I prefer the thrift store to the mall, I don’t have cable, and I gave up my car for my feet. I’m interested in people, collaboration, watchin football in my pjs, Atlanta, staying country despite the east coast, befriending old folks, collective action, laughing ’til the tears come, family, my dog Pete, hearing from my ancestors in my sleep, and perfecting my brand of crazy. I’m jonesin’ for a different world.
